About Offen’s

We are the 6th generation of the Offen farming family.

The Offen casualty business is now headed by Rich, who’s compassion, intuition and understanding of animals is second to none. The family all remain together, working with livestock and equine at the farm.

Rich was brought up handling and caring for all animals on the farm. The numerous skills and plentiful knowledge that has been passed down through the years, has provided him with priceless experience that can’t be beaten.

The Offen family has always been well known in the equine and livestock world. From the 1940’s Dick Offen was a horse dealer, selling working horses and then riding horses as the years went on. He never had a need to advertise, as his good reputation preceded him. During this time he also took old, injured horses and ponies for disposal, even though back in his day the process was much different.

Using an off road vehicle we can access even the harshest of land to meet your requests, we understand that often livestock and horses will be out of immediate reach when this sad time arrives.
